The Humane Society of Greater Akron is an independent, nonprofit organization dedicated to alleviating animal abuse and suffering throughout all of Summit County. The Society restores and maintains the health of hundreds of animals each year, animals that have been abused and neglected, and finds new, loving homes for them.
